I have been volunteering with Wake Dems for the past few years, and I have seen tremendous growth in this organization since Wesley’s involvement began.

Of course, I have a unique perspective of Wesley considering we are married :-) But, this means I have had a front row seat to the blood, sweat, tears, and many, many late nights he has dedicated to this organization. He does it for a better North Carolina. He does it because he believes in the work we are doing. He does it because he believes in all of you.

He spends every waking hour making this organization better or thinking about ways to make it better. I have never seen him more dedicated to anything than he has been to Wake Dems while having the pleasure of serving as your executive director.

We have made huge gains in voters turnout and processes under Wesley's leadership. We is well qualified and has the support of the volunteers who work on the ground. Gaining the support of grass roots advocates is critical to our effectiveness as a county party.

Wesley is the serious candidate we need for these devastating political times. He’s shown us that he knows how to harness the data and technology in a way that allows WCDP to move forward efficiently and effectively. He’s someone who calmly and clearly tells you what he’ll do and why, and then does what he says, following through on his word. He’d never ask you to do something he wasn’t willing to do himself.

We spent most of 2024 working shoulder to shoulder with Wesley out in the field - training volunteers, knocking doors, and discussing strategy. His commitment to the cause is beyond reproach, and his understanding of the “lay of the land” is remarkable. Unlike his opponents, I feel confident that he recognizes the gravity of the situation and work at hand, is well versed with how WakeDems really works, is intimately familiar with the challenges, and can hit the ground running on day one. I simply can’t imagine someone more ready to lead this organization.

Over the years, Wesley has demonstrated that he is the person we need as next WCDP Chair.

Wesley discovered me while I was volunteering. His lovely wife Alex, trained my spouse and I during canvassing and we knocked on doors together. We also met the amazing team that welcomed us warmly.

After that, I started knocking on doors with my family and phone banking.

Wesley spoke to me about being East Raleigh Area Coordinator because of the enormous work that is needed to vote for Democrats up and down the ballot.

I said Yes, because he is a phenomenal leader that leads from his heart, and an advocate for growth and change. He exemplifies courage, respect, collaboration, resilience and compassion. I trust him and the slate of Democrats who are stirred up to build.

Wesley was everywhere, at all times during the intensity of the 2024 election cycle. Yet, he always found time to answer questions, offer support to volunteers, and in my case, a timely granola bar on a hot turf one morning in September. I have every confidence that he will continue Kevyn's legacy of doing great things for the WCDP.

Wesley launched almost every canvass I attended in 2024. He put in the work to help us win and was able to pivot any time, based on what our candidates needed. He treated volunteers great and would knock doors himself. He was a bright light for me all hot those weekends knocking doors.

Wesley Knott is the biggest reason why the WCDP and Democrats did as well as we did in 2024. He’s a strong leader with a vision for the Democratic Party where we win up and down the ballot. I trust him to lead us. I trust him to do better than we did in 2024 and 2024 was the best campaign we’ve had ever. I can’t say that about any other candidate.

From day 1, back in June when I first volunteered, Wesley's enthusiasm and leadership had me committed to working with Wake Dems.
